Attachments for Stand Up Forklifts - IC engine powered trucks are labeled in accordance to the fuel utilized. Type "G" lift trucks are gasoline fueled. They meet the least standards for fire hazards. Type "GS/LPS" forklifts are duel fuel units since they can be operated on gasoline or LPG without whichever modification to the fuel system. These trucks meet all requirements of a Type "GS" or Type "LPS" truck and have different machinery installed to their fuel system, exhaust system and electrical system, in order to allow them to be utilized in some dangerous applications. Type "GS/LPS" trucks are used in similar applications to Type "GS", Type "LPS" and Type "EE" electric trucks.

Lift trucks fueled by diesel which satisfy minimum requirements for fire hazards are labeled type "D". These forklifts are not to be utilized in dangerous places. Type "DS" forklifts are diesel fueled and meet all the requirements of a Type "D" truck and consist of different equipment installed to the electrical system, fuel system, and exhaust system so as to allow them to be utilized in certain hazardous sites. Type "DS" forklifts are used in related applications to Type "GS", Type "LPS" and Type "EE" electric lift trucks. Type "DY" forklifts are diesel fueled and satisfy all the requirements of Type "DS" forklifts and also do not comprise any electrical machines installed. These trucks utilize air starters and come with some provisions in order to regulate the temperature of the lift truck components. These trucks can be used in similar situations and conditions as the type "EE" electric forklift.
